Oral History: Gero, William; Feb. 24, 1977

Oral History
Gero was mayor in mid-1950s to early 1960s, among other township positions. Interview an odd mix of trivial things about his garden, and good info on development of Sagamore Road (much about his house 107 Sagamore, architect Winston Ogden). Some details on Millburn life during WWII etc; also on development of Short Hills Mall. Good background on Gero Park, an area where developers wanted to build on but town officials thought it better to keep it as open space. 10pp. Interviewer was Joan Kohl Vrahnos.
