North Jersey Nurseries envelope & letter Feb 28, 1916

Yellowed envelope, with much edgewear along top. Sent from Millburn, New Jersey, cancellation Feb. 28, 1916; from North Jersey Nurseries, formerly at the bottom of Main Street, opposite the Millburn entrance to the Springfield Presbyterian Church cemetery. Letter was sent to The Lancaster County Nurseries, R.F.D. #7 in Lancaster PA. Envelope contains a letter to Lancaster County Nurseries, which begins: "Gentlemen,:-Answering your valued favor of the 23rd. If you care to echange for the following you may make your selection from our list at once. Itis only a small order and you may not care to bother with it, but your prices are pretty high on cherries and plums, and we have had an opportunity to exchange with a firm who make us considerably lower prices..." Letter is folded once horizontally and twice vertically. Purchased on eBay from Edward L. Eckman; 1847 Krystle Dr.; Lancaster, PA 17602. Envelopes and letters were deacidified with Bookkeeper.
