Old Mill Pond, Millburn, 1909

Two copies: 1. Postally used, B&W photographic postcard of The Old Mill Pond, Millburn, N.J. addressed to Miss Carrie Bennett, #2 Main Street, West Orange, N.J. and postmarked Millburn, August 25, 1909, 7 pm. Message on postcard reads, " Would like to know if it will be convenient for Stephen to start taking his lessons again Monday. Mrs. S. Brown." This pond was downstream from the Diamond Mill, which is visible in the rear. It was located where the Middle School athletic fields are today on either side of the river. The walls of this pond were visible from the pathway from Old Short Hills Road to Lackawanna Place. 2. Postally unused copy.
