Hartshorn: Windmill on Hartshorn Estate, 1910

The windmill stood on the Stewart Hartshorn property about 300 yards east of the Short Hills Station. It served to furnish water for the Hartshorn residence. Built about 1898, it was demolished about 1919. An earlier one built about 1875 stood on the same spot.
