Arch Bridge: Train Crossing Stanley's Arch Bridge, 1884

Photograph
Photograph of a train crossing Stanley's Arch Bridge on Morris Turnpike in 1884. The westbound train is on the old stone arch bridge over Morris Turnpike at Hobart's Gap. The bridge was known as Stanly Arch because of hte station just t the west. Note the cracks in the bridge. The arch was replaced in 1894 with the one that is still in use.
