Hyatt: Scientific American weekly journal, March 1, 1884

sixteen-page March 1, 1884 Scientific American weekly journal of practical information, art, science, mechanics, chemistry, and manufactures. The first page and page 130 feature an article about Hyatt Filters, which were manufactured by the Newark Filtering Co., Newark NJ. The filters were used for purifying water. All corners are bumped. All edges are discolored. Edgeware on all sides. The first page is detached from the spine about 1/3 of the way down. The top half of the text on the right side of the first page has a number of light tan stains, the largest of which is about 1.25" wide.
