Greystone Cottage, 177 Hobart Avenue, 1880

Greystone Cottage was designed by architect Arthur B. Jennings of New York and built in 1880. 19th Century Vernacular Style. The house was one of the earliest constructed in Short Hills Park and was occupied by William R. Bliss. It appears in several contemporary depictions of Hartshorn's Short Hills development.
