J.K. Hoyt, Pen and Pencil Pictures on the Delaware, Lackawanna and Western Railroad, 1874. hardcover, 289 pages. In 1874, J.K. Hoyt of Madison, NJ published " Pen and Pencil Pictures On The Delaware, Lackawanna, and Western Railroad." The book was a result of a trip he made along the line, stopping to spend some time at each town along the way. In it, he includes a pen and pencil picture of each town, along with its past history, current developments, and his thoughts as to the future. Hoyt includes engravings of Wyoming and Millburn (Greenhouses, Oakey Hall Resdience and a Billiard Hall) in his account.
