Biography of Eileen Schauler Charone from Symphony Hall Notes, April 1, 1967. Schauler was a renowned Opera Singer, who was born and raised in Millburn. She graduated from the Juilliard School in New York. She made her NY City Opera debut in the title role of Shostakovich's Katerina Ismailova and sang in 24 leading roles with the New York City Opera for 15 years and made her Broadway debut in the title role of My Darlin Aida. She then went on to work as a teacher and coach at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City. In 2010, moved back to Millburn. She passed away on April 21, 2021 at age 92.
