Schoepperle: Envelopes from China to Mr. and Mrs. William Rahill, 1946-7

Two envelopes addressed to Mr. and Mrs. W (William) A. Rahill, 370 Hobart Avenue, Short Hills. Mr. and Mrs. Victor Schopperle lived at 370 Hobart Avenue-this home was designed and built by Will Bradley. Lydia Schoepperle married William H. Rahill in 1943 and moved to China with him, where he was stationed until 1946. The Schopperles were known for their garden.
1947 postally-used air-mail cover/envelope (no contents) from E. Holmes, UNRRA, Chinkiang, Kiangsu, China to Mr. and Mrs. William A. Rehill, c/o Victor Schopperle, Hobart Avenue, Short Hills, NJ, readressed/forwarded to Pocono Lake Preserve, Penna.
On back in script says, "Ed Robinson married July 13- T.T. and Sonny had announcements. The Holmes did not."
