Hartshorn: Windmill Tower Postcard, 1907

Real-photo postcard of the Hartshorn Windmill Tower entitled "The Old Tower, Short Hills, N. J.", sent to Miss M.E. Bedell; Livingston, New Jersey. The handwritten message on the front of the undivided-back postcard states: "This is a familiar landmark passed on the way here.; I hope you stayed home yesterday and did not try to go through the snow.; We were pretty thoroughly snowbound here, but comfortable. Yours, L.P.R.; New Providence; N.J.; Feb. 6, 1907" The cancellation mark on the back is marked: "New Providence N.J.; Feb; 7; 1907; P.M."
