Cora Hartshorn Arboretum: The Bird Sanctuary, 1931-33

Sepia-colored real-photo postcard view of the stone house at the Cora Hartshorn arboretum on Forest Drive in Short Hills. Designed by leading architect of the the period Bernhardt Muller, the building was constructed using stone from the Hartshorn quarry. It was designed in 1931 & completed in 1933. Brown stain is visible along the entire top of the rear of the card and some on the front top of the card.
