North Jersey Nurseries envelope & letter Sept 20, 1915

Yellowed envelope sent from Millburn, New Jersey, cancellation Sept. 20, 1915; from North Jersey Nurseries, formerly at the bottom of Main Street, opposite the Millburn entrance to the Springfield Presbyterian Church cemetery. Letter was sent to The Lancaster County Nurseries, R.F.D. #7 in Lancaster PA. Envelope contains a letter to Lancaster County Nurseries, which begins: "Gentlemen,:-We have your valued favor of the 16th. We have entered our order for: 50 Buxus Bushy, 12-18 in. @ $.20, 100 Oriental Plane 5-7 ft. @ .25, 100 Hydrangea P.G. 18 in. @ .06, 25 Baby Rambler @ .15, 25 Blue Rambler @ .12, 25 Clothilde Soupert @ .12, 250 Japan Iris (if named) @ .08..." Letter is folded once horizontally and twice vertically and has a 1/8" tear on the right edge, at the center fold. Purchased on eBay from Edward L. Eckman; 1847 Krystle Dr.; Lancaster, PA 17602. Envelopes and letters were deacidified with Bookkeeper.
