Fred'k Crane Chemical Company Letter, September 24, 1890

Archive
Three-sheet (six-pages) letter with the Frederick Crane Chemical Company letterhead -- and the envelope. Written by a chemist-employee to a friend in Philadelphia PA. The stationery has "Short Hills, N.J." printed on it, but according to some Internet info from the seller, the firm was in Springfield, NJ. The Celluloid Zapon Plant was located in on Morris Avenue in Springfield. It opened in 1888 and was one of two manufacturing plants in the area. It closed in 1904 and moved to Stamford Connecticut.
