DescriptionReceipt for goods purchased by Mr. Behring from David J. Mundy, Dealer in Dry Goods Groceries, Flour, Feed, Hay, Straw, & c., Millburn, NJ, dated March 31, 1890. According to a note in the Mundy file, the card was found in the home of Mr. & Mrs. Behring of 90 Myrtle Avenue, NJ in 1993. The card was found in the dining room wall during renovations. Mr. Behring built the home, a Queen Anne Victorian home, himself. The house still stands today and is registered with the local, county, state and Federal Historic Societies.
