Gentzel's Store Interior, October 19, 1897

Gentzel's Grocery Store was located at 387 Millburn Avenue (Northeast corner of Millburn Avenue and Spring Street. Finest store in the area in its heyday. Building was built by William Gentzel, who previously had a small store on the north side of Taylor Street, near Main Street. Photograph by Edwin D. Pannell. Personnel (left to right) John Gentzel ("Little John") nephew of William; Proprietor William Ike Taylor, Fred Taylor (no relation) and John Gentzel (Big John) son of William.
