The Millburn–Short Hills Historical Society is pleased to announce a new online membership application form, which will very much simplify the application process.
New members can still download, print, fill out, and mail to the society the society’s PDF version of the application form, but this new streamlined approach will significantly expedite the membership process. Current members can use the form to renew their memberships by simply checking the “renewal” checkbox on the top of the form.
We hope the new online form will encourage new and long-term residents to become members of the society. Millburn has a rich and diverse history, and joining the society will help us with our activities and enable us to share with our members a greater sense of the roots of the community in which we live through member benefits such as our digital and print newsletters and programs on local history.
The new membership feature was added by local Summit web developer and web consultant Robert Kopacz. Long-time residents, residents who attended Millburn High School from the 1960’s to the 1990’s, or residents whose children attended MHS during those years, may remember Robert’s father, Eugene (who passed away in 2014 at age 89), a popular teacher at Millburn High who taught Latin to hundreds of students during his career there.
Robert built the website for the society in 2011, and has been helping add features ever since.
