New in the schools in 1907! According to the 1908 Superintendent’s report, a dedicated art room was installed on the 3rd floor of the Short Hills School, where art and woodworking were taught. That same year, the Washington School opened its library, which served all the Millburn public schools at the time. It was so successful that it was opened to the general public. Circulation for the school year ending June 30, 1907 was 8,000 volumes!
