Historical Interviews
In the summer of 2020, a group of Millburn High School seniors connected with some of our most established and longest tenured Township residents for a series of interviews. The students selected the questions and conducted the conversations – most of them over videoconference due to the pandemic – and uncovered a delightful and informative journey through our Township’s past, as shared through the video clips below.
Special thanks to the following Millburn historians who have shared their stories, anecdotes, and perspectives for this project:
- John Buckley – Township resident since 1942, former Millburn Fire Captain
- Daniel Cannizzo – Lifelong Township resident, Former Township Committee Member
- Louise Gili – 102 years young; Township resident since 1918
- Sandra Haimoff – Longtime Township resident, Former Mayor, Millburn Township
- Mary McNett – Township resident since 1970, former Township Committee member
- Mike Roberts – Lifelong Township resident, Former Millburn Fire Chief
