Hartshorn: Roller Shade Capitol Oil Opaque Cloth Sample Book

Object/Artifact
Book of samples of hand painted, solid color, oil paint, opaque cloth for roller window shades. Red cloth cover is titled "Hartshorn Capitol Hand Made Oil Opaque" and the store that sold the cloth for the shades was "S. Wolf & Sons; 105 W. Berks Street; Philadelphia, Pa. Cover has two 1/4" spots (of ink?) and is worn, especially on the edges. Binding on the spine is black cloth. First page and about four other pages scattered through the book are glossy paper. Remainder of the pages are samples of the painted cloth, with glassine-type separators with a spider web design. Purchased online (eBay?) from Mr. Art McManus; 137 W. Oneida St.; Oswego, NY 13126.
