Pressler: 1920 Theater Show Cards (4)

Object/Artifact
Four 1920's silent film theater cards illustrated by Gene Pressler. Each card measures 4.5" X 6". The four cards contain illustrations of women in uniforms matching the following descriptions at bottom of cards: American Army Nurse, Japanese Girl, American Navy Girl, and Canadian Girl. All four cards have crease across center horizontally. Each card contains information on Empire and Park Theatre films in insides and on backs. Soiling on all but more on American Army Nurse card. Purchased on Ebay. Gene Pressler lived in Millburn on 81 Linden Street from 1918 until his death in January 1933.
