DescriptionWooden container is brown wood, ca. 39" long X 5.75" height X 5.75" Width. Box lid is 39" long X 4.75" width X 0.4" height. Box had been repaired by Rich Weber from National Woodworking in February 2009. Box contains four stenciled roller window shades. The label on wooden dowels of all four shades is marked ' "THE STERLING" ; Spring Stop Shade Roller: (Patent Applied for); for 88 inch shades, 7 feet long, ask for the brass cap end.' Beneath that are directions for the use of shade. At top of label is, "For longer and heavier shades use the Hartshorn roller". All shades fully open measure ca. six feet long and 38" across with rods. There are three shades with an applied teal-colored pattern in a floral vase/urn design. There is one shade with an applied brown-colored pattern in a garland swag floral design. All four shades show signs of severe wear with browning, tears and dirt. There is one very soiled wooden rod 27.6" X 0.20" and one brown metal rod 17.13" X 0.125"
