Object/Artifact
Wooden sign with, "The Aurnhammer's est. 1954" hand carved on front. Carved as well are two bear paw prints and one evergreen tree. Sign was probably meant to be used in the family's home in Adirondacks. Front appears to have been shellacked. Back has engraved, "MJA '94". Top and bottom of sign have bark. Two screw eyes for hanging on top with chain attached. Obtained at house sale of Dorothy Aurnhammer.
