Millburn High School Class of 1946 Gin Bottle

Object/Artifact
An empty clear-glass liquor bottle with a custom label that says: "M.H.S. Class of '46; Distilled London Dry GIN; 100% grain neutral spirits; Bottled Exclusively for M.H.S. Class of 1946" All front corners of the front label are lifting away slightly. The middle of the right edge has a 1/4" tear. Overall soiling on front label. Label on rear notes that the gin was "ninety proof" and has recipes for Martinis, Tom Collinses, Gin Fizzes, and Gin Rickeys. Rear label is also marked "Bottle by The Park Company, Ltd; Linden New Jersey" and has light overall soiling. Neck label is marked with a shield (and crest?) beneath which is "Extra Dry." The label is soiled, wrinkled, and crooked. Screw-on bottle cap was not included in the donation, as it was missing. Bottle came from an estate sale that the donor had conducted.
