Kahn Collection: Metal Funnel

Object/Artifact
Metal funnel/grater from Williamsburg Room, Millburn Library. Provenance unknown (possibly M/M Harvey Kahn). Metal (tin?) multi-purpose kitchen tool -- funnel, grater, cookie cutter, scraper. The mouth of the funnel is crimped, probably for cutting biscuits or cookies. The funnel end has a gently scalloped mouth, probably also for cutting small shapes. The handle has rows of holes with metal points, for grating. The handle also has jagged teeth on one edge, probably for scraping. Entire surface is worn and slightly rough. The inside of the funnel retains some of the silvery plating.
