Board of Education: Millburn Schools Building Program Pamphlet, 1960

Millburn Plans Ahead Building Program from the Millburn Public Schools. 12 pp (unpaginated) . Pamphlet published on June 7, 1960 from the Millburn Township Public Schools Board of Education describing a bond issue to finance the purchase of 2 parcels of land to enable the expansion of the Junior High School. The proposal is for the purchase of the land owned by the Millburn Inn (Formerly the Brison homestead) to serve as an annex for the Junior High School and the purchase of the 5 1/2 acres across Old Short Hills Road for athletic fields, which was part of the Joseph P. Day property.
