Description1955 illustrated, softcover, 65-page, advertising booklet titled "Ford Times." Booklet was apparently distributed by Jackson Motors Inc of Southern Pines NC. It is presumed that the purpose of the booklet was to encourage interest in travel and, thereby, encourage car sales. Pages 56 and 57 feature the former Millburn Inn (Old Short Hills Road, left side of current middle school) in an article titled "Favorite Recipes of Favorite Taverns." Front and back covers have light wear and smudging. There is a 2" fold line at the upper right corner of the front cover. Back cover is stamped "Police Dept; Pinehurst N.C." Inside pages are clean and unmarked.
