Anna Eliza Bahring was born in Marietta, Ohio in 1866 and had 8 siblings. She married Herman J. Bahring, who was a carpenter, in 1886 and moved to Millburn the following year. The Bahrings lived at 90 Myrtle Avenue and raised their 5 children in the Wyoming section of town.
