Lamb & Wheeler, House for Stewart Hartshorn, ((Gouverneur K. Haswell House), Knollwood Road, Short Hills, N.J., 1879, L.&W. Oriel with conical roof of patterned slate shingles repeats the patterned shingles of the wood siding. The melon shape at the bottom of the oriel is reflected in the melon shaped capitals of the Jacobean columns.
