Millburn Art Center: Lucille Manners Receiving Painting, 1944

Photograph of radio star Lucille Manners receiving a painting by Hamilton Rapicano at the June 3, 1944 Village Festival, sponsored by the Millburn and Short Hills Art Center, in recognition for her tours of Army camps. Manners, who was one of several artists invited to perform at the event, lived in Millburn at 12 East Hartshorn Drive.
