The house was part of the Knollwood Development, which was started in 1926 by Kenneth Dalzell. According to this listing, the house is 27 years old, which would put its construction at 1937. The lot is depicted as #35 on the 1925 Map of Knollwood and was listed in a September 1935 Sheriff's Sale. Previous owners included Mr. and Mrs. George B. Graeff (1937-1952) Mr. and Mrs. Robert Henderson (1953-c. 1958), Mr. and Mrs. James Vreeland (1958-1962), Mr. and Mrs. Richard Seybold (1962) and Jane Coryell Riedel (1987).
