Photograph of 365 Hobart Avenue from the 1978 David Gibson Historic Sites Survey. 365 Hobart Avenue, or Linfield, was built in 1911 by Arthur B. Ware of the James Ware & Sons architectural firm, New York for Stephen M. Linington. Later owners were: Robert D. Elden (1921), Oscar M. Condit (7/23/36), James Footharap & Linara (2/5/52), E. Freeman Bunn (10/29/69). An advertisement for Linfield by Seymore Kensler appeared in 1971.

Linfield was the subject of articles in: The American Architect (November 15, 1911) and American Homes and Gardens (November 1913).
