Brookside Drive: Brookside Drive with Barn, Millburn, 1908

Postcard
Postally used, postmarked Millburn, August 24, 1906, 8:00 am. Addressed to Mrs. John F. Gentzel, "The Homestead" Melford, Pennsylvania. Message reads: "Received your cards. Hope you are both enjoying yourselves. With much love. Mother. Pike too." Popular postcard depicting the House and Barn north of Diamond Mill Pond. This house and barn stood where the Elmdale Picnic area is today in the South Mountain Reservation. The outlet for the brook is still in existence at the curve above Diamond Mill Pond. Image corresponds with #142 in Centennial Collection.
