Scope and Content71 Taylor Road. "Stoneacre" - Hartshorn House No. 65. Edward Layng, a local architect and builder for Stewart Hartshorn, built this 20th cent. Eclectic style house in 1908. It has a gable and hip roof with slate covering; exterior finish in stone wood timber and stucco. Note the ornamental chimneys, arched entry-way and bay windows over entrance.
