Dunn: Bob Dunn and other cartoonists at the Palm Restaurant

Photograph
Photograph of Bob Dunn and other cartoonists at the Palm Restaurant in New York City. The Palm Restaurant, on 2nd Avenue, between 44th and 45th Streets in NYC was a popular gathering spot for cartoonists and journalists from nearby newspapers and syndicates, including Hearst's King Features. The owners welcomed the scribes and artists, encouraging the cartoonists to draw on the walls, which became a featured attraction for diners. Bob Dunn (seated in the back corner), whose office was a block away at King Features on 45th Street, contributed several wall drawings.
