Fire Department: Firemen's Son Parade, 1905

Photograph from May Fair Calendar '70 was first published in The Item on August 12, 1948. According to the caption at that time, the Firemen's sones were lined up on Millburn Avenue in 1905 before going to Westfield for a parade. The boys are identified: left to right front row as: Robert Oliver, Irving Libingston, Wdward Ward, Edward Spencer, Lester Barnard, Earl Warner, Robert Hennesey and the Millburn Fire Chief at the time J. David Hayes. Pictured in the back row are: Harry Ayres, Harold Bailey, Joseph Rimback, W. Dewey Hayes, Marshall Noel and Harold Hayes. Leading the parade is Frank Tichenor.
