Millburn Art Center 1945 Scrapbook: Village Festival Costume Contest Second Place, 1945

Photograph
Photographs of second place winners of the costume contest in Taylor Park at the second annual Village Festival, sponsored by the Millburn Art Center on June 2 and 9, 1945. The photograph shows Van Ness Hough (left) and Bert Anderson dressed as butchers, holding a dachshund. The skit was a satire on the meat shortage. The picture was also featured in an article on the festival that appeared in the Newark Star Ledger (Sunday, June 3, 1945).
