Red Cross: Anita Bloom Receiving Punch at Red Cross event, 1946

Suffern, N.Y. -- July 26. Anita Bloom, former WAC, and now a patient at the Kings-bridge Veterans Administration Hospital in the Brons (sic), gets a cup of punch between the acts of a special theater party for veterans arranged through the Tappan Zee Camp and Hospital Council, American Red Cross, at the Suffern County Theater 175 veterans firm thee V.A, hospital were served luncheon and saw performance of "Alice-Sit-By-The-Fire" with Helen Hayes as star and her daughter, Mary MacArthur, "Act of God" baby, making her debut.
