How: Letters and envelopes to Misses How, Wyoming, 1894-1910

Letter and two envelopes addressed to "Misses How," M.E. How and Miss I.M. How, Wyoming, Millburn P.O., New Jersey. Letter is postmarked London, 5 January, 1894 and contains a message written in two directions (cross-writing), which was a common practice to save paper in letter writing in the 19th and early 20th centuries.
The envelopes are postmarked Glenwood (Minnesota), April 15, 1900, 2:00 pm and Prides Crossing, Massachusetts, December 29, 1910, 8:00 am. Millburn Post Office is indicated on all addresses to indicate that the mail was to be picked up at the Millburn rather than Maplewood Post Office.
