DescriptionTwo 1935 Millburn Township tax maps, originally from 1925, with revisions through 1934. Book 2013.006.001 has maps of Millburn and part of Short Hills. Some maps have structure footprints, but most do not. Book 2013.006.002 has maps of Short Hills. Maps are bound between thick, brown, paper covers attached with linen tape. Both books have "Millburn Twp Tax Maps" handwritten on the front cover. Covers and binding tape are worn and dirty, with ink scribbles on covers and binding. Corners are bumped, edges have much wear. Book 2013.006.001 has a 1" black blob near the top edge of the back cover, which may be a bit of glued on black paper. Maps in book 2013.006.001 are worn (particularly at edges) and creased. Maps in book 2013.006.002 are worn (particularly at edges) and lightly rippled in the center. Donor was president of the Summit Historical Society at the time she purchased the maps (from a collector in Summit, I believe), for the purpose of donating them to the M-SH Hs.
