Hurricane: Floyd Flooding, 1999

Inscription on back of photograph reads: Thursday, September 16. 1999, 9:00 am. heavy rains which preceded Floyd force closure of Millburn Avenue east of Vauxhall Road. Seen is Cypress Street and Millburn Avenue. Hurricane Floyd was described as the "Storm of the Century," with 500 homes and 90 commercial properties in Millburn Township damaged by the flooding.
