Campbell Family Portraits: Samuel Campbell & Wife

Great Grandfather and Great Grandmother Campbell to Elise C. Erwin (on top), Bottom is Grandfather Campbell. Samuel Campbell was born in Scotland. In 1756, he received a grant from the Crown for 120 acres of land in the valley of the west branch of the Rahway River. He established the "Thistle Mill" in 1790.
