Christ Church: The Old Rectory, 90 Forest Drive, Short Hills

In 1887, Stewart and Joanna Hartshorn donated land adjacent to Christ Church as a site for a rectory and the parishioners pledged $850 toward construction of the new building. G.K. Haskell, architect and member of Christ Church, offered his professional services at no charge. Total cost of rectory was $6,496. The building served as the rectory 1888-1952.
