Oral History: Meisner, Marion, c. 1977

Oral History
Meisner lived at 31 Woodcrest Avenue. Moved to Millburn in 1937. Paid approximately $20,000 for her house at the time.Meisner's interest in Millburn history came about through her reporting for "The Item." Discusses her association with the Meeker family, whose association with Millburn goes back to 1703, when the family had a farm in the area of Brookside Drive and South Orange Avenue. Meisner worked with Ross Meeker on the 1957 Centennial Book. They solicited images from people by placing advertisements in newspapers and collected almost 500 images.
