DescriptionStewart Hartshorn Company color trade card for Hartshorn's self-acting shade rollers. On the front of the card a fairy, with wings and a wand, is pointing her wand to the words 'Self-Acting.' Two cornucopias spilling roller shades are at the top of the card and two crossed empty cornucopias, with three hearts around them, are above the star on the end of the wand. At the fairy's waist level is 486 Broadway, N.Y. At the bottom of the card is 'For Sale By; M.S. Price; Syracuse, N.Y.' in red. On the back of the card is a calendar for 1883 and a penciled '.75' The card was imprecisely cut, showing irregular white on the edges.
