Brison: Charlotte "Lotte" Chambers

Photograph that was turned into a real photo postcard of Charlotte Chambers, a servant who lived with the Brison family as household help in the homestead. Inscription on back of card reads: Charlotte Chambers lived with us at Millburn. Born: South of Springfield, N.J.. Married Thomas Bowser at her home on Elm Street, once called "Peck Slip" Millburn, NJ. Buried in the Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Springfield, NJ in single grave by fence in north west corner of cemetery. Aunt Em bought adjoining space for Tom, her husband, the day she was buried in Springfield, NJ. Lottie came to live with us.
