The photograph is signed by Betsey Palmer, who wrote "The Lord provided this space since Jerry took the other. Betsey Palmer." Jerome Hines signed his name and wrote: "John 14:6". To Olive is inscribed in ballpoint pen above Jerome Hines' signature.
