Doerr's Grove: Glass Mug from Doerr's Grove

Object/Artifact
Glass mug with a chip found at the site of the former Doerr's Grove property, at the end of Rippling Brook Road. Doerr's Grove was a popular site for community outings, picnics and field games for clubs & organizations in the White Oak Ridge area of Millburn from 1928-1960. Located near the Livingston border, the location of the Grove was often listed as Livingston or Northfield. Early advertisements give the address as Oakridge Road.
