Lamb & Rich: 60 Forest Drive, c. 1888

Unnumbered Hartshorn House Colonial Revival style with gambrel roof. Oversize. Exterior finish is stone and clapboard. Note the ornament in the brick chimney; the curved pattern of shingles between 3rd floor windows; the roof brackets. The house is drastically altered by removal of porch. House for Stewart Hartshorn at 60 Forest Drive (George H. Rosé House), Short Hills, N.J.,1888, L.&R.
