DescriptionHand-written recipe book featuring recipes copied from newspapers and some newspaper clippings pasted in belonging to Frances Kemmerer, Short Hills (Name is written on first page). She made notes about good recipes, the source of the recipes and, in some cases, the dates. Range of dates are from the 1920s-1940s. Book was found in the attic of 298 Main Street, which contained materials from Mary and Mark Oliver. The book exemplifies women's recipe collecting practices in early to mid 20th century and popular foods of the period.
